Clarks Creek 4-H Club

The Clarks Creek 4-H Club met at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Nov. 13. President Samantha Shefelton called the meeting to order and the roll call was answered by “what is your favorite color?” There were 19 members present. Song leader Kaycee Brown led the club in “Itsy Bitsy Spider.” Club Parliamentarian Gracie Erichsen discussed Roberts rules of order. The float committee reported the float was coming along and the club wouldmeet Nov. 24 at 9 a.m. to finish and at 4:30 p.m. to line up for the parade. The theme was a Santa’s workshop. The club also voted to make holiday boxes and bake cookies to hand out to those who have supported 4-H in our area. The club will meet on Dec. 16 to bake and put the boxes together. Blake Vercher did a talk on photography picture placement. The club meeting ended with a game of heads up seven up and pizza. The next meeting will be Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. Submitted by: Ali Lietzan. 

Social Duplicate Bridge

Bob Norcross and Dean Luthi were the first place winners at the meeting Monday. Twila Branfort and Mary Minick were the second place winners. Ron Moon and Russell Gaston placed third. Six pairs were in attendance participating in playing the Howell movement.
