One person attained minor injuries during a structure fire at 1402 Rucker Rd. early Saturday morning.

Junction City Firefighters were called out to the fire around 2 a.m. Saturday. There, they discovered a male with minor injuries to his left hand which he attained while attempting to put out the blaze. The victim was checked out at the scene and dressed the burns. It was not deemed necessary to transport him from the scene.

The fire is still under investigation by the Fire Marshall. However, at this point in time, no foul play is suspected.
