USD 475

USD 475 and Junction City High School announced he induction of two students into the National German Honor Society (Delta Epsilon Phi, Kansas Nu Chapter) May 12.

Inducted into this society were sophomore German 2 student Chalee Williamson, and  junior and German 4 student Brianna Ault.

A ceremony took place at the high school May 7.

The National German Honor Society was founded in 1968 and is a branch of the American Association of Teachers of German. To be inducted, students must have completed at least three semesters of German classes, with a 3.6 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale, calculated on a cumulative basis for all semesters. Students should also have at least a 3.0 GPA in other classes.
