Frederick Arthur Gross

Frederick Arthur Gross, 81, of Richmond, Texas passed away on September 1, 2019. Fred was born on June 20, 1938, in Junction City to Clarence and Margaret (Cox) Gross. Fred attended Junction City High School and proudly served his country with 23 years of military service.

Fred was a lifelong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America and was an active board member on his Home Owner’s Association.

Fred is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon (Koska) Gross, whom he married on December 15, 1963; his two children Michael Gross and Vicki Daley; sisters Ruth Hall and Patricia Smith; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Final resting place will be at Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery at Fort Riley.

Service will be held on September 16th, 2019 at 10 a.m., 5181 Wildcat Creek Road, Manhattan, Kansas 66503.
