Loretta Estella Phillips  Gardner

Loretta passed from this life on 12 July. She was 79 years old, and married 56 years to MAJ Donald Gardner, US Army Ret. Survivors include Donald, Two sons: Britt and Troy and their families including five grandchildren, all living in Nixa, Missouri, as well as a brother, Dean Phillips and wife in Bartlesville, OK.

Loretta was an Artist, a Creative Writer, and Business Woman creating Primitive Americana decor items marketing through major gift Markets in the United States.

Her creative love was altered art and paper ephemera, off-beat collections, and her trademark tennis shoes.

She was born in Neodesha, Kansas and graduated from Pittsburg State University as an Elementary Educator. Following Don’s military postings she lived throughout the  United States and Europe, most recently settling in Ozark and Nixa, MO.

A private service honoring her life will be held at a later date.
