Genre Penny Wars

The Dorothy Bramlage Public Library is amid their “Genre Penny Wars.” Between Aug. 2 and Oct. 31, people can come to the library and place pennies in the jar of their favorite genre to earn the genre points and silver coins in the jars of genres they don’t like to take away points. The jar with the most points wins the Penny Wars. All proceeds go to the library’s book donation program.

The items will be on display at the museum starting on Nov. 9 for people to bid on in a silent auction. On Nov. 27 will be the Designer and Public Christmas Party, and the final bidding will take place on Dec. 4, at a Santa’s Sweet Shoppe event at the society.
