Geary County Sheriff’s Office responded to or self-initiated a total of 208 incidents, resulting in 62 cases, 22 citations and 17 arrests in the week-long period ending at 7 a.m. Monday, July 19.

9:30 a.m. — Deputies arrested Frank Houston at 826 North Franklin Street for a violation of the Offender Registration Act, possession of opiates/opium/narcotic/certain stimulant, interference with law enforcement and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

10:33 p.m. — Deputies arrested Kimberly Williams on I-70 on mile-marker 300 eastbound for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

10:30 p.m. — Deputies arrested Miguel Cruz-Alvarez at 826 North Franklin Street and aggravated intimidation of a witness.

Wednesday

12:28 p.m. — Deputies arrested Michal Jochner on I-70 eastbound at mile-marker 291 for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and no drug tax stamp.
