Tanner Holen had three hits, and Nate McBroom pitched a complete game, as the Junction City Brigade capped a strong weekend showing with a 6-3 victory over the Midwest A's Sunday.

The game was a makeup game from June 26.

Carson Sader had two RBI in the victory for Junction City. McBroom pitched nine innings, allowing three runs and striking out two.

The victory capped a weekend that saw Junction City victorious in each game. Friday, they defeated the Sabetha Lobos 7-3. In a doubleheader Saturday, the Brigade combined for 27 runs as they knocked off Sabetha 11-0 in the first game and 16-7 in the second.

The win puts Junction City 1/2 game behind Topeka in the Mid-Plains League West with one week of games left to play.

The Brigade are home Monday as they host the Kansas City Knights. First pitch is at 7 p.m.
